The IAAT Executive Committee has nine members (2 of them women). All the Committee members are eminent practitioners in the field of rehabilitation therapy, and/or run businesses providing mobility assistive devices, are government officials or academics of high repute. Various IAAT members have been recipients of national and professional awards for excellence in their work. IAAT past President, Mr Mukesh Doshi is a Recipient of the President’s Award for service to the disabled. Mr Rajesh Tiwari, the Secretary, is a Deputy Director in the Department of Social Welfare, Chhattisgarh state. Mr. Tarit Datta (present President) is the retired from Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India. Governance functions are assumed by the EC members based on their capacities, availability and needs of IAAT.
