As the President, I took charge on January middle 2025 with the goal of elevating IAAT to new heights. I have initiated three key activities:

a) publishing the newsletter
b) reviving the IAAT website
c) improving administrative processes

including documentation and the preservation of all office-related records.

As we continue on our journey to empower individuals with disabilities, we are reminded of the incredible resilience and determination that defines our community.

We also highlight the latest advancements in rehabilitation technologies, innovative therapies, and inclusive practices that are transforming lives. Our contribution, articles and interviews showcase the tireless efforts of healthcare professionals, advocates, and organizations working tirelessly to promote accessibility, equality, and social justice.

As we celebrate our successes, we also acknowledge the ongoing challenges that our community faces. We recognize that there is still much work to be done to break down barriers, challenge stigma, and ensure that individuals with disabilities have equal access to opportunities and resources.

In this spirit, we invite you to join us in our mission to empower, educate, and advocate for individuals with disabilities. Together, we can create a more inclusive, compassionate, and equitable society that values diversity and promotes human rights.

Thank you for your continued support and readership.

Sincerely,

Tarit Datta
